Prayer of the day

LORD God, I recognize that every good and perfect gift that I have in life comes down from You, the Father of lights, who never ceases to give and give again. Most of all, I praise You for giving the indescribable gift of Your beloved Son, Christ Jesus. No longer will I ever experience separation from Your everlasting love. Holy Spirit, deliver me from having a reluctant or greedy heart. Teach me the joy of being a cheerful giver just as God is to me. Bring someone across my path today that You want me to bless physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In Jesus' mighty name.

I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
