Prayer to appreciate and value the small things in life

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for reminding me about the importance of small things in life that You use to accomplish great things. I recall how You used a small rut like David to destroy the Philistine giant, Goliath. I remember how a young boy gave You his five small pieces of bread and two fishes that You used to feed five thousand people. Help me Holy Spirit to appreciate the small things that God has given me. Lead someone across my path today that feels small and thinks they are insignificant. Grant me an opportunity to enrich them with hope and by sharing this wonderful Kingdom truth. In Jesus’ name.
