WISE: Be wise by being proactive - Matthew 25:4

Daily scripture about being wise and proactive - Learn more

Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. The five who were foolish didn’t take enough olive oil for their lamps, but the other five were wise enough to take along extra oil. Matthew 25:1-4 NLT

Quote: “God gives you the wisdom to be proactive and prepare for what’s coming ahead so you don't procrastinate!”  - Hector Perez

Prayer to be proactive = Stop procrastinating

I appreciate Your teaching heart Lord Jesus and the way You use parables to help me understand the importance of being proactive and prepared.  Teach me Holy Spirit to be wise like Jesus who is the ultimate example of being a forward thinker and proactive leader. Deliver me from being foolish by being a procrastinator and neglecting the little things that are important in the eyes of the Lord. Guide someone across my path today who is negligent and needs my encouragement. Use me to help influence them to be wise and proactive by taking along extra oil for what lies ahead.  In Jesus’ mighty name.
