REWARD: Preach the gospel voluntarily, and you will have a reward - 1 Corinthians 9:16

For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! If I preach voluntarily, I have a reward; if not voluntarily, I am simply discharging the trust committed to me. 1 Corinthians 9:16-17 NIV

Infallible truth: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile." Romans 1:16; "And He [Jesus] said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."' Mark 16:15-16; "But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach); that if you will confess with your mouth, that Jesus is Lord, and will believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved." Romans 10:8-9

Praise & Prayer
Heavenly Father, I know You can easily dispatch Your angels to fly throughout the earth and proclaim the gospel to people of all nations, tongues, and languages. Yet, as I read this scripture, I realize that You've chosen imperfect sinners like the disciples and me to preach the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, please fill me with the boldness of a lion and a willing heart to share the gospel with someone today who is broken and devoured by the devil. Open their heart to believe that Christ died for our sins and rose again from the dead so that, by believing in Him; we might receive forgiveness and the unfailing hope of everlasting life. I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, my Savior

FAITH: Have faith in Jesus - 1 Corinthians 9:1

I am free. I am an apostle. I have seen the Lord Jesus and have led you to have faith in Him. 1 Corinthians 9:1

Infallible Truth: "Now faith is the assurance that what we hope for will come about and the certainty that what we cannot see exists." Hebrews 11:1; "And without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6; “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” Romans 10:17

Truth: "Have faith in Jesus, for He is your friend who sticks closer to you than a brother or sister."

Praise & Prayer
I praise You, Lord Jesus, for the fellow believers like Paul that You've brought into my life who have helped strengthen my faith in You, especially in times of trouble. Please use me, Holy Spirit, today as a light of hope for a doubter whose faith is shattered. Open the door for me to pray with them and share the miraculous things the Lord performs for those who trust in Him. I pray in Jesus' mighty name.

LIFE: Your life is given to you by Jesus Christ - 1 Corinthians 8:6

We have only one God, and He is the Father. He created everything, and we live for Him. Jesus Christ is our only Lord. Everything was made by Him, and by Him life was given to us. 1 Corinthians 8:6 CEV

Infallible Truth: "All things were made and came into existence through Him [Christ]; and without Him [Christ] not even one thing was made that has come into being." John 1:3-4' "The life of every living thing is in His hand, as well as the breath of all mankind." Job 12:10

Praise & Prayer
Lord Jesus, I have life, light, and eternal hope because of You. Thank You for teaching me that there is only one God, our Abba Father, and that I was created to live for Him. Holy Spirit, please teach me to live in the reality of heaven today by being God-conscious and living a life that pleases Him, just as Christ did every moment of His life here on earth. Remind me that everything I say, think, or do in life must be for God's glory, which results in eternal rewards. I pray in Jesus' mighty name.

KNOWN: If you love God, you are known by Him - 1 Corinthians 8:3

Now concerning food sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge makes one conceited, but love edifies people. If anyone thinks that he knows anything, he has not yet known as he ought to know; but if anyone loves God, he is known by Him. 1 Corinthians 8:1-3 NAS

Quote: "Let your love for God build up the lives of people, but never let the lives of people tear down your love for God." - Hector Perez

Praise & Prayer
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for teaching me through this scripture about the greatness and importance of love over knowledge. Holy Spirit, please deliver me from being a conceited know-it-all Christian who alienates family members and fellow believers from the faith. Lord Jesus, I want to be recognized as a God-lover by prioritizing the needs of others above my own. Teach me to become more like You so that I can uplift and support the lives of those around me, just as You have done for me. I pray in Your mighty name.

CALLED: God called you, and what matters most is your obedience - 1 Corinthians 7:19

Were you Jewish at the time God called you? Don’t try to remove the evidence. Were you non-Jewish at the time of your call? Don’t become a Jew. Being Jewish isn’t the point. The really important thing is obeying God’s call, following His commands.
1 Corinthians 7:18-19 MSG

Eternal Truth: “But I did obey the LORD,” Saul insisted. “I carried out the mission He gave me. I brought back King Agag, but I destroyed everyone else. Then my troops brought in the best of the sheep, goats, cattle, and plunder to sacrifice to the LORD your God in Gilgal.” But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to His voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams." 1 Samuel 15:20-22; “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you." John 14:15-17; "Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:9-10

Praise & Prayer
I acknowledge, Lord God, that obedience to Your commands is the pathway to blessings and a deeper relationship with You and Christ Jesus, my Savior. Lord Jesus, I praise You for perfectly fulfilling all 613 commandments in the Holy Scriptures and allowing me to share in Your obedience. I want to fulfill my calling and demonstrate my love for You by keeping Your commandments. Please teach me Your ways and lead me in the path of righteousness so that I may do those things that please our Father in heaven. Holy Spirit, thank You for being my Helper. Please remind me that the most important aspect of my calling is obedience to God, which is better than sacrifice. Free me from the tendency to lie to myself, as Saul did when he disobeyed God and sought to justify his actions. I pray this in Jesus' mighty name.

LIFE: It is God who defines your life - 1 Corinthians 7:17

And don’t be wishing you were someplace else or with someone else. Where you are right now is God’s place for you. Live and obey and love and believe right there. God, not your marital status, defines your life. Don’t think I’m being harder on you than on the others. I give this same counsel in all the churches. 1 Corinthians 7:17 MSG

Praise & Prayer
Despite my past failures and many shortcomings with relationships, I thank You, Heavenly Father, for reminding me through this sacred scripture that You define my life. Lord Jesus, I praise You for saving me and making me a new person with a new future who longs to obey, love, and live to please God and You. Please fill my heart with Your inexhaustible love and give me a spirit of contentment with my relationships and situations that You permit me to face. Holy Spirit, please write this truth upon my heart: "My life is in Christ Jesus, who meets my every need right now, and His grace will always sustain me." Hallelujah!

FREE: You are free to win more people - 1 Corinthians 9:19

Although I am free from everyone’s expectations, I have made myself a servant to all of them to win more people. To the Jews I became like a...
