PARADISE: Jesus died to save you and bring you to paradise - Luke 23:43

As the soldiers led Him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus.
A large number of people followed Him, including women who mourned and wailed for Him.
Jesus turned and said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me; weep for yourselves and for your children.
For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’
Then “‘they will say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!”’ For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with Him to be executed.
When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified Him there, along with the criminals—one on His right, the other on His left.
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
And they divided up His clothes by casting lots.
The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at Him. They said, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.”
The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar and said, “If You are the king of the Jews, save Yourself.”
There was a written notice above Him, which read: "This is the king of the Jews."
One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at Him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save Yourself and us!”
But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this Man has done nothing wrong.”
Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in paradise.” Luke 23:26-43

Worship & Praise:
Jesus died to save others, but did not save Himself. I worship You, Heavenly Father, and praise You for sacrificing Your only begotten Son on the cross so that all who believe in Him should not perish but have eternal life. I thank You, Lord Jesus, for laying down Your life as the Passover Lamb to forgive our sins—past, present, and future—and wash them all away with Your precious blood that was poured out at the cross. Like the criminal who was crucified beside You, I ask You to remember me and fill me with hope that I will be with You in paradise when my time comes to leave this earthly life. I exalt and magnify Your holy and mighty name, my Messiah, LORD, and Savior. Hallelujah!

HOSANNA: Hosanna, the King has come to save us - John 12:13

Holy Week: An event that took place on Tuesday (three days before Christ's crucifixion).

The next day, the great crowd that had come for the Passover festival heard that Jesus was on His way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet Him, shouting, “Hosanna! [save now]”
“Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Blessed is the King of Israel!”
Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written: “Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion; see, Your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.”
John 12:12-15

Praise & Prayer:
I bow before You, KING of kings and LORD of lords, like the great crowd offering praises of gratitude for turning our darkness to light. Thank You for humbling Yourself and riding on a donkey's colt to go to the cross and save us from the wages of sin and death. I kneel before You on behalf of my family and friends who are afraid and separated from experiencing a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father. Hosanna, O Lord, Save Now! Abba Father, I come in the blessed and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, to supplicate and pray for the salvation of my children, family, and friends.

MARVELOUS: Great and marvelous are the deeds of God in your life - Revelation 15:3

They held harps given to them by God and sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb:
“Great and marvelous are Your deeds, Lord God Almighty.
Just and true are Your ways, King of the nations.
Who will not fear You, Lord, and bring glory to Your name?
For You alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed.”
Revelation 15:2b-4

Living Truth:
How amazing are the deeds of the LORD! All who delight in Him should ponder them.  Everything He does reveals His glory and majesty. His righteousness never fails.  He causes us to remember His wonderful works. How gracious and merciful is our LORD! Psalm 111:2-4

Praise & Worship:
I was created to glorify the Lord God Almighty. I join the victorious in heaven, Heavenly Father, to sing the song of Moses and of the Lamb. I earnestly affirm Your great and marvelous deeds which are perfect, and all Your righteous acts, as Christ Jesus fully revealed to us. I praise and thank You, Lord Jesus, for the wonderful works of salvation. I will remember Your marvelous victory over sin, death, and the powers of darkness at the cross of Calvary for eternity. Thank You for bringing the hope of salvation to all who believe and trust in You. Hallelujah!

VICTORIOUS: God gives you the victory through Jesus Christ - Revelation 15:2

Then I saw in heaven another marvelous event of great significance. Seven angels were holding the seven last plagues, which would bring God’s wrath to completion. And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. Revelation 15:1-2

Eternal Truth:
  • “But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57
  • “Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could He die, and only by dying could He break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could He set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.” Hebrews 2:14-15
  • “For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.” 1 John 5:4
Prayer:
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for giving me the victory through my Lord Jesus Christ. I remember, Lord Jesus, how my life was a complete disaster when I lived without You and was a slave to sin, trapped in a mindset of hopelessness, shackled by chains of defeat. I praise You for winning the victory over sin, death, and the powers of darkness for all who trust in You at the cross of Calvary. Use me, Holy Spirit, to help a family member, friend, or stranger escape the pit of defeatism by pointing them to CHRIST, our VICTORIOUS KING. Hosanna [save now] in Jesus' mighty name!

BLESSED: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord - Revelation 14:13

Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” Revelation 14:13

Prayer:
For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. While I am here on earth, I will continue living for You, Lord Jesus, which means fruitful labor with eternal purpose. To die in You is a blessed hope that is beyond compare. Loving Father, I thank You for sending Your beloved Son, who was crucified for my sins and rose again to raise from the dead all who confess Him as LORD. I worship, praise, and glorify You for the blessed gift of salvation and eternal life I have received through Christ, my Savior.
