REMEMBERED: The Lord remembers you - 1 Samuel 1:11

Once when they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh, Hannah stood up. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his chair by the doorpost of the Lord’s house. In her deep anguish, Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly. And she made a vow, saying, “Lord Almighty, if you will only look on Your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.” 1 Samuel 1:9-11

Prayer:
Like Hannah, I come before Your holy presence, Lord Almighty, with my worries and concerns, knowing You look down on Your servant and remember me in my troubles. When the voices of doubt whisper in my ear, remember me, Lord Jesus, please do not allow doubts to nest in my mind, by immediately turning to our Heavenly Father, who favors us and hears the cries of His children as He did for Hannah. Holy Spirit, please guide someone across my path today who is in deep anguish. Use me to rekindle their faith in God, and help me be an instrument of hope by listening to them and praying with them for salvation in Jesus' mighty name.

Living Truth:
  • One of the criminals who hung there heaped abuse on Him. “Are You not the Christ?” he said. “Save Yourself and us!” But the other one rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same judgment? We are punished justly, for we are receiving what our actions deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” And Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” Luke 23:39-43
  • "Remember, O LORD, Your compassion and loving devotion, for they are from age to age. Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my rebellious acts; remember me according to Your loving devotion, because of Your goodness, O LORD." Psalm 25:6-7

HOLY: Be holy [set apart] to the LORD - Zechariah 14:20

On that day "Holy to the LORD" will be written on the bells of the horses. And the cooking pots in the house of the LORD will be like the bowls in front of the altar. Zechariah 14:20

Prayer:
Make me holy, Heavenly Father. Take my life and let it be, consecrated LORD to Thee. As the bells of the horses in Zechariah's day had written "HOLY TO THE LORD", please inscribe upon my heart "HOLY TO THE LORD JESUS." Sanctify me, Holy Spirit, as a clean cooking pot and a useful bowl for God's glory. Fill me with a love for holiness so I can be a pure vessel that pours out the truth, love, and mercy of Christ, and leads sinners to faith in our Wonderful Savior. I pray in Jesus' mighty name.

Living Truth:
  • "But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do, for it is written: “BE HOLY, BECAUSE I AM HOLY.” 1 Peter 1:15-16
  • "For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness." 1 Thessalonians 4:7

KING: The LORD is your KING - Zechariah 14:9

"And the LORD shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall there be One LORD, and His name One." Zechariah 14:9

Prayer:
I declare, Abba Father, the truth of this holy scripture that Jesus Christ is King over heaven and all the earth. I wholeheartedly submit to Your authority, Lord Jesus, and ask You to reign over my life, home, and circumstances. I look forward to the day when You, the One LORD, returns to rule with love, justice, and righteousness. Teach me this day, Holy Spirit, to align my life with the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God, so I may manifest that Christ is King in me. In His mighty name, I pray.

Infallible Truth:
  • "These kings will go to war against the Lamb. But He will defeat them, because He is LORD over all lords and KING over all kings. His followers are called, chosen, and faithful." Revelation 17:14
  • "Out of His mouth came a sharp sword, with which He will defeat the nations. He will rule over them with a rod of iron, and He will trample out the wine in the wine press of the furious anger of the Almighty God. On His robe and on His thigh was written the Name: "KING of kings and LORD of lords." Revelation 19:15-16

REFINED: God is refining you like silver for glory - Zechariah 13:9

I will refine them as silver is refined, test them for purity as gold is tested. Then they’ll pray to Me by name, and I will answer them personally. I’ll say, ‘That’s my people.’ They’ll say, ‘God—my God!’” Zechariah 13:9

Praise & Prayer:
I worship and praise You, God—my God, for reminding me that You are refining my character and preparing me with careful attention through life's trials and momentary afflictions for Your eternal kingdom. I'm willing to share in the sufferings of Christ, so that I may be overjoyed at the revelation of His glory. Purify my faith like gold, Lord Jesus, through the tribulations and sufferings You permit me to face. Pray for me as You did for Peter, so that my faith endures the tests of time and does not fail. I ask in Your mighty name, my Savior and King.

Endless Truth:
  • "I have said these things to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation [suffering; hardship; affliction]. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
  • "In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in various trials so that the proven character of your faith—more precious than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 1:6-7
  • "And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you, secure you, strengthen you, and establish you." 1 Peter 5:10
  • "For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!" 2 Corinthians 4:17

CLEANSED: Jesus, the Fountain cleanses you from sin and impurity - Zechariah 13:1

"On that day, a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity." Zechariah 13:1

Prayer & Praise:
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for the cleansing fountain that You have opened for us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Please wash me clean of my iniquity and cleanse me of my sin with Your powerful blood, Lord Jesus. I profess that You alone are the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Holy Spirit, guide a person across my path today who is overwhelmed with guilt and self-condemnation because of their past or present sins. Use me to lead them to the fountain that God has opened for the house of David and for all who come to Jesus for cleansing and forgiveness. In His mighty name, I pray.

Poem: "There is a Fountain filled with blood" by William Cowper.
  • There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel’s veins; And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.
  • The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day; And there have I, though vile as he, washed all my sins away.
  • Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood shall never lose its power
Till all the ransomed church of God be saved, to sin no more.
  • E’er since, by faith, I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die.
  • Then in a nobler, sweeter song, I’ll sing Thy power to save,
When this poor lisping, stammering tongue lies silent in the grave.
  • Lord, I believe Thou hast prepared, unworthy though I be,
For me a blood bought free reward, a golden harp for me!
’Tis strung and tuned for endless years, and formed by power divine,
To sound in God the Father’s ears no other name but Thine.
Infallible Truth:
  • "But if we live in the light in the same way that God is in the light, we have a relationship with each other. And the blood of His Son Jesus cleanses us from every sin." 1 John 1:7
  • "In Him [Christ] we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace." Ephesians 1:7
  • "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" 1 John 1:29

GRACE: God has poured out on you the Spirit of grace and prayer - Zechariah 12:10

"Then I will pour out the Spirit of grace and prayer on the family of David and on the people of Jerusalem. They will look on Me, whom they have pierced, and mourn for Him as for an only son. They will grieve bitterly for Him as for a firstborn son who has died. Zechariah 12:10

Prayer & Praise:
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me! Loving Father, as I look at my Lord Jesus Christ, my heart overflows with worship and praise. You allowed Him to be hated, rejected, mocked, tortured, pierced, punished, and sacrificed on the cross for our sins and transgressions. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving me from eternal condemnation and for showing me God's unmerited favor, as You did for the criminal hanged next to You at Calvary. Pour into me, Holy Spirit, the spirit of grace and unceasing prayer for family members, friends, and people who feel unworthy of God's undeserved favor and grieve without hope. Help me be a compassionate and humble ambassador of Christ's amazing grace so they may accept and confess our Wonderful Savior as their LORD. I pray for their salvation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

ETERNAL TRUTH:
  • "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace [unmerited favor] you have been saved." Ephesians 2:4-5
  • "For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and unmerited favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; 9not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for His salvation]." Ephesians 2:8-9
  • "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

SAFE: You will pass safely through the sea of distress - Zechariah 10:11

They will pass safely through the sea of distress, for the waves of the sea will be held back, and the waters of the Nile will dry up. The pride of Assyria will be crushed, and the rule of Egypt will end. "I will strengthen them in the Lord and in His name they will live securely, declares the Lord." Zechariah 10:11-12

Prayer and Praise:
I run to You, Lord Jesus, my Strong Tower, Refuge, and King who rules over the sea of distress that seeks to trouble my soul. I praise You for crushing the pride of Assyria and the rule of Egypt in my life. Lead me, Holy Spirit, to the heavenly shores of Christ's perfect peace, unspeakable joy, everlasting love, pure righteousness, and eternal security in God's Kingdom. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, my Savior.

LIVING TRUTH:

  • "The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of distress; He cares for those who trust in Him." Nahum 1:7
