RESTORATION: “Look to heaven, and let the Most High restore you.” — Daniel 4:34

While these words were still in Nebuchadnezzar's mouth, a voice called down from heaven, ‘O King Nebuchadnezzar, this message is for you! You are no longer ruler of this kingdom. You will be driven away from human society, live with wild animals, and eat grass like an ox for seven years. Then you will acknowledge that the Most High has power over human kingdoms and that He can give them to anyone He chooses." Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven out of human society and ate grass like an ox. The dew fell on his body, and his hair grew as long as eagle feathers and his nails as long as bird claws. "When the seven years had passed," said the king, "I looked up to heaven, and my sanity was restored. I praised the Most High and gave honor and glory to the One who lives forever. He will rule forever, and His kingdom will last for all time." Daniel 4:31-35

Prayer:
I remember, gracious Father, when my life was animalistic, ruled by carnal instincts and foolish pride like Nebuchadnezzar. For years, I felt like an outcast, invisible to society. But everything changed one evening in the depths of my isolation when I knelt in repentance and confessed Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Christ took away my shame, restored my sanity, and transformed me into a new person. I acknowledge that You, the Most High God, are worthy of glory and honor, for You rule over human kingdoms and govern everything in heaven and on earth. I praise and glorify You, the One who lives forever.

Affirmation: “When society treats me as invisible, I will stand firm in the truth that Jesus restores my soul, brings sanity to my mind, and makes me a new person.”

TRANQUILITY: "Stop sinning, do what is right, and your tranquility will continue." Daniel 4:27

Therefore, your majesty, may my advice be acceptable to you: Stop your sinning, do what's right, and put a stop to your wickedness by showing kindness to the oppressed. Perhaps your tranquility will continue. Daniel 4:27

LIVING TRUTH:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, for He has anointed Me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the LORD'S favor has come.” Luke 4:18-19

Prayer:
I desire and need the tranquility that You alone can give me, Heavenly Father, in Your beloved Son. Lord Jesus, I remember how You rested peacefully in the boat, perfectly tranquil, while Your disciples were troubled and afraid in the midst of a violent storm. Teach me to rest in our Father’s sovereign care as You did, and let the peace of Your presence rule my heart as I turn from sin and do what is right by showing kindness to the oppressed. Holy Spirit, please guide me today to someone who is suffering under the enemy’s oppression and feels hopeless. Anoint me to share the Good News of the tranquility and living hope they can experience by trusting in our Messiah. Hear their cry and please free them from oppression as we call upon Your mighty name, Lord Jesus Christ.

LEARN: "Learn that the Most High rules over your life." Daniel 4:25

“‘This is what the dream means, Your Majesty, and what the Most High has declared will happen to my lord the king. You will be driven from human society, and you will live in the fields with the wild animals. You will eat grass like a cow and be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven periods of time will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone He chooses. But the stump and roots of the tree were left in the ground. This means that you will receive your kingdom back again when you have learned that heaven rules. Daniel 4:24-26

Prayer:
Rule over my life, Lord Jesus, for I am weary of learning the hard way by trying to be the captain of my own life. As I surrender to Your Lordship, may integrity, humility, and uprightness protect me, for my hope is in You. Use me, Holy Spirit, to influence someone today who relies on their own understanding and strength, like King Nebuchadnezzar, to submit their life to God Most High by confessing Jesus as their Lord, so they can experience the peace and security of trusting in His sovereign care. I pray for their salvation in Jesus' mighty name.

Affirmation: “I choose surrender over self-reliance and faith over trying to control everything, so that I may experience God’s favor upon my life through Christ Jesus.”

LOWLY: "The Most High sets the lowly in high places." Daniel 4:17

For this has been decreed by the messengers; the holy ones declare the verdict, so that everyone may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. He gives them to anyone He wishes and sets over them the lowliest of people.’ Daniel 4:17

Prayer:
I bow before You, Most High God, and declare that Yours are the greatness, power, glory, splendor, and majesty, for everything in heaven and on earth belongs to You! I acknowledge that You rule over every kingdom and remain sovereign through every season of health or sickness, highs or lows, prosperity or poverty, strength or weakness, promotion or demotion. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for choosing the lowly and despised of this world and setting them in places of honor and authority. Fill me with Your humility so that I never misuse the authority You have entrusted to me by mistreating or abusing others. Let my life be a living hallelujah to You, my Savior.

Affirmation: “I will humble myself under the mighty hand of God, who elevates the lowly.”

WONDERS: "God performs miraculous wonders for you." Daniel 4:2

King Nebuchadnezzar, to the nations and peoples of every language, who live in all the earth: May you prosper greatly!
It is my pleasure to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me. How great are His signs, how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; His dominion endures from generation to generation. Daniel 4:1-3

Prayer:
My heart overflows with gratitude, Gracious Father, for the signs and wonders You have performed in my life! The greatest miracle of all was the day Jesus Christ found me and saved me from powers of darkness that enchained me in despair. Lord Jesus, I can't thank You enough for opening my once-blind eyes to see the awesome wonders God performs for those who trust in You. Holy Spirit, lead someone across my path today who feels hopeless and needs a miracle. Despite what they see or feel, stir their heart to believe as I share my testimony of God’s mighty works through Christ. Hear their cry, O God of miracles, for nothing is impossible with You! Bless them with the miracles of hope and salvation as they call upon the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior!

Affirmation: “It is a joy and honor to testify of the miracles God has performed in my life through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!”

FAITH: “Your unwavering faith will inspire others to believe in God.” Daniel 3:28

Nebuchadnezzar spoke up and announced: “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego! He sent his angel to deliver his servants who trusted in him. They disobeyed the king’s command and were willing to risk their lives in order not to serve or worship any god except their own God. So I decree that people from any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego will be destroyed and their house reduced to rubble, because there is no other god who can save like this.” Daniel 3:28-29

Prayer:
God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, my soul is deeply stirred as I witness in this powerful Scripture the faithfulness of Your servants, who walked by faith, not by sight. Although condemned to die in a fiery furnace, they were willing to risk their lives rather than compromise their worship of You alone. I praise You for honoring their unwavering faith and transforming their trial into a powerful testimony that moved a pagan king to declare, "THERE IS NO OTHER GOD WHO CAN SAVE LIKE THIS!" Holy Spirit, strengthen me to continue believing in and serving God faithfully through life’s hardest trials. Use my faith to inspire my children, grandchildren, relatives, and unbelievers to trust in Jesus Christ, our Savior, and commit their lives to serving Him. I ask this in His almighty name.

Affirmation: “I will walk by faith and be willing to risk my life for Jesus Christ so that my testimony may inspire others to trust in Him.”

PRESENT: "The Lord is with you in the fire." Daniel 3:25

Out of control with rage, Nebuchadnezzar’s facial expression changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and he ordered that the furnace be heated seven times hotter than usual. Then he issued orders to his elite guard to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego with ropes and throw them into the blazing fire furnace. So the elite guard tied them up fully clothed, still wearing their robes, tunics, and turbans, and threw them into the blazing fire furnace, because the king’s command was so drastic. Since the furnace was blazing hot, its flames killed those who threw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into the blazing fire. Bound firmly with ropes, these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell into the blazing fire furnace.
Astonished, King Nebuchadnezzar stood up in terror, and asked his advisers, “Didn’t we throw three men into the fire, bound firmly with ropes?”
In reply they told the king, “Yes, your majesty.”
“Look!” he told them, “I see four men walking untied and unharmed in the middle of the fire, and the appearance of the fourth resembles a divine being.” Daniel 3:19-25

Prayer:
My soul is filled with hope as I read this holy Scripture, Loving Father. I believe with all my heart, Lord Jesus, that You were the fourth being in the blazing furnace that Nebuchadnezzar saw with Your uncompromising and fearless servants. I trust in Your infallible promise that You will remain with me through sickness, loss, and every fiery trial. Please sustain me, O LORD, in the hour of trial by Your grace, keep my faith from failing, and bring me through every affliction according to Your perfect will. I praise and trust in Your precious and mighty name. Amen.

Affirmation: 

“What the enemy intends for evil cannot overcome the God of miracles, for Christ Jesus is with me in the fire.”
