MERCY: The LORD is merciful towards you - Zechariah 1:16

Therefore, this is what the LORD says: "I have returned to Jerusalem with merciful intentions. My Temple will be rebuilt there," declares the LORD of the Heavenly Armies, "and the measuring line will be stretched out over Jerusalem." Zechariah 1:16

Unfailing Truth:
  • "As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind beggar was sitting beside the road. When he heard the noise of a crowd going past, he asked what was happening. They told him that Jesus the Nazarene was going by. So he began shouting, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Luke 18:35-38
  • "Because of the loving kindness of the LORD, we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!" Lamentations 3:22-23
Worship & Prayer:
You are worthy, LORD God Almighty, to receive glory, honor, and power. I worship and praise You for sacrificing Your Son, Jesus Christ, who took my punishment and death sentence. I believe that You love me and have merciful intentions toward me, as Your servant Zechariah stated in this promise. Have mercy on me this day! Please remind me, Holy Spirit, that God's mercies never fail. They are new every morning; great is His faithfulness towards me in Christ Jesus, my Savior. Amen!

RETURN: Return to the Lord Almighty, and He will return to you - Zechariah 1:3

In the eighth month of the second year of Darius, the word of the Lord came to the prophet Zechariah, son of Berekiah, the son of Iddo: “The Lord was very angry with your ancestors. Therefore, tell the people: This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty. Zechariah 1:1-3

Living Truth:
  • Jesus told them this story: “A man had two sons. The younger son told his father, ‘I want my share of your estate now before you die.’ So his father agreed to divide his wealth between his sons. “A few days later this younger son packed all his belongings and moved to a distant land, and there he wasted all his money in wild living. About the time his money ran out, a great famine swept over the land, and he began to starve. He persuaded a local farmer to hire him, and the man sent him into his fields to feed the pigs. The young man became so hungry that even the pods he was feeding the pigs looked good to him. But no one gave him anything. “When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself, ‘At home even the hired servants have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger! I will arise and return to my father and say, “Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. Please take me on as a hired servant.”’ “So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him." Luke 15:11-20
  • "All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on Him [Jesus Christ] the sins of us all." Isaiah 53:6
Prayer & Praise:
I have come to my senses like a prodigal son and hear Your voice calling me, Lord God Almighty. I return to You with a contrite, repentant heart. Lord Jesus, I praise You for revealing to me God's heart of love, grace, mercy, and compassion, which calls me to return to Him. I draw near to You this day, Abba Father, and praise You for embracing me, kissing me, and never forsaking me. I thank You in Jesus' mighty name.

INHERITANCE: The victorious will inherit all the blessings of God - Revelation 21:7

All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be My children. Revelation 21:7

Infallible Truth of An Eternal Inheritance:
  • “Now if we are children, then we are heirsheirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory.” Romans 8:17
  • "All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by His great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay." 1 Peter 1:3-4
  • "God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure." Ephesians 1:5
  • "Therefore Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, now that He has died to redeem them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant." Hebrews 9:15
Praise & Prayer:
No words can ever express my heartfelt gratitude, Lord Jesus, for Your marvelous salvation and the wonderful promise of an eternal inheritance I will receive from God our Father through You. The day I asked You to be the LORD of my life was the first time I began to be victorious over abusive hurts, self-sabotaging thoughts, sinful lusts, and demonic control. Abba Father, I thank You for the amazing grace You have shown to me by adopting me into Your family and making me a victorious co-heir with Christ. I now live with great expectation because of Your infallible word, which declares that I'm identified as one of Your children who will inherit blessings that transcend human comprehension because of Jesus Christ.
I, Your child, will forever glorify You, Heavenly Father.

WATER: The Alpha and the Omega gives you the water of life - Revelation 21:6

And He told me, “It is done! I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give freely from the spring of the water of life. Revelation 21:6

Eternal Truth:
  • "On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and called out in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink." Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said: ‘Streams of living water will flow from within them.’” John 7:37-38
  • Jesus answered, “If you knew the gift of God and who is asking you for a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” John 4:10
  • Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks the water I give a person will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give a person will become in them a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14
  • “For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living water, and they have dug their own cisterns—broken cisterns that cannot hold water." Jeremiah 2:13
Prayer & Praise:
As a deer pants for streams of water, my soul, Lord Jesus, thirsts for You. For years, I committed the same evil as this present society by forsaking God and drinking from my own broken cisterns, leaving me dehydrated, dejected, and discontented. Thank You for coming to my rescue and allowing me to drink the water of life that springs up as a fountain unto eternal life. I bow in reverence to praise You, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, for quenching my thirst and satisfying all of my needs in life. Lead me, Holy Spirit, to someone today who is drinking from the broken cisterns of this world that have left them in agonizing pain. Use me to point them to the spring of living water, Jesus Christ. I pray for their rebirth in His mighty name.

NEW: God is making everything new in you - Revelation 21:5

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I AM making everything new!” Then He said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Revelation 21:1-5

Living Truth:
"Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new." 2 Corinthians 5:17

Praise & Prayer:
I am a new person, Father God, filled with purpose and hope because of Jesus Christ, my Savior. I praise You for sacrificing Your only begotten Son on the cross to save sinners like me from the wages of sin and death. He wiped away my tears of sorrow and shame. He triumphed over the grave and rose again to give eternal life to everyone who trusts in Him. I worship You and thank You for making everything new in me. Please guide me, Holy Spirit, to someone today who is ravaged by their old, sinful lifestyle, which is causing great pain and harm to themselves and others. Stir their heart to cry aloud this trustworthy and true promise: "LORD God, I am clay in Your hands, please make everything new in me. I ask in Jesus' mighty name."

PROTECTED: God will protect His people and destroy all of His enemies - Revelation 20:9

After the thousand years are over, Satan will be set loose from his prison, and he will go out to deceive the nations scattered over the whole world, that is, Gog and Magog. Satan will bring them all together for battle, as many as the grains of sand on the seashore. They spread out over the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people and the city that he loves. But fire came down from heaven and destroyed them. Then the Devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:7-10

Living Truth:
  • "Yes, and the LORD will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into His heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen." 2 Timothy 4:18
  • "If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go." Psalm 91:9-11
Prayer & Praise:
I trust in God, my Savior, who is my shelter, an indestructible fortress of protection. I praise You, Heavenly Father, for the promise of victory over the devil's deception, the beast, and the false prophet, who love what is evil. Please teach me, Lord Jesus, to remain steadfast in the faith, as You were, when I face perilous days or persecution for following You. My heart is filled with assurance and hope in Your ultimate victory on the cross over the powers of death and forces of darkness. Holy Spirit, please fill me with the courage of Jesus Christ so that I may reflect unwavering faithfulness as a child of God and battle against the satanic forces. Guide me to someone enchained by demonic lies and deception. I pray for their freedom and salvation in Jesus' mighty name.

RESURRECTION: Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection - Revelation 20:6

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. Revelation 20:4,6

Prayer:
For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. I want to be a testimony to Your great love and the Word of God, Lord Jesus, even if it costs me my life. I long to share in the first resurrection and to be a priest of God and You, serving and doing Your will. Use me, Holy Spirit, to be a faithful witness to my family, friends, and people in the marketplace about God's gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, so they can take part in the first resurrection and be saved from the dreadfulness of a second death. Lead me today to someone in need of living hope who is open to hearing the good news that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, so that whosoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. I ask in the mighty name of Jesus, my Savior.
