INSTRUCTION: The Lord will instruct you in the way - 1 Samuel 12:23

As far as I am concerned, far be it from me to sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you! I will instruct you in the way that is good and upright. 1 Samuel 12:23

Prayer:
Instruct me, O LORD, in what You would have me do, and lead me along a good and upright path, for I am lost without You. Lord Jesus, please give me a humble, teachable heart that reveres God, so I may serve Him faithfully with fervent passion. Stir my heart, as You stirred Samuel’s, to pray without ceasing for family and friends who have drifted away from the faith. Holy Spirit, grant me opportunities today to help strengthen the faith of those You bring across my path by praying with and for them. I ask this in Jesus’ mighty name.

SECURITY: "The LORD rescued you so that you may live in security." 1 Samuel 12:11

“Then they cried to the LORD again and confessed, ‘We have sinned by turning away from the LORD and worshiping the images of Baal and Ashtoreth. But we will worship You and You alone if You will rescue us from our enemies.’ Then the LORD sent Jerubbaal (Gideon) and Bedan and Jephthah and Samuel, and He rescued you from the hand of your enemies on every side, and you lived in security. 1 Samuel 12:10-11

Worship & Praise:
I am safe in the arms of Jesus. Merciful Father, I kneel before You with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for reminding me through this Scripture that You never give up on Your children or on me. Just as You raised up faithful servants to rescue Israel, You have been gracious to send godly men and women to strengthen and help me in times of sorrow and insecurity. Above all, I thank You that my true security is found in Jesus Christ—not in people, possessions, or circumstances. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for rescuing me from the powers of darkness and bringing me into Your marvelous light. Use me today to help turn someone who is worshipping the images of this world [Baal and Ashtoreth] back to faith in You. I ask in Your mighty name, my Savior.

Affirmation: "All of the idols of this world promise fulfillment but always leave your soul empty. Only Jesus Christ rescues, satisfies, and gives you eternal security."

GREAT-THINGS: "Remember the great things the LORD has done for you." 1 Samuel 12:7

“The LORD and his anointed one are my witnesses today,” Samuel declared, “that my hands are clean.” “Yes, He is a witness,” they replied. “It was the LORD who appointed Moses and Aaron,” Samuel continued. “He brought your ancestors out of the land of Egypt. Now stand here quietly before the LORD as I remind you of all the great things the LORD has done for you and your ancestors. 1 Samuel 12:5-7

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please forgive me for the many times I quickly forget the great things You have done for me, especially during seasons of trial and testing. Holy Spirit, never stop reminding me of God's mighty works and the innumerable miracles He has accomplished and continues to perform for me through Jesus Christ. Keep my heart fixed on Christ's faithfulness, so I never lose sight of His goodness, favor, and everlasting love. Lord Jesus, use me today to encourage someone who has forgotten the great things God has done for them. Help me bring them back to the memory lane of Calvary so that their faith is renewed and their hope is restored in our God of miracles. I pray in Your mighty name. Amen.

SALVATION: This is the day the LORD has saved you - 1 Samuel 11:13

But Saul said, "No one will be put to death today, for this is the day the LORD saved Israel." 1 Samuel 11:13

Prayer:
I celebrate this truth and boldly proclaim that today is the day of salvation. Lord Jesus, I sing songs of praise and worship because You saved me from my enemies as You did for Israel. No longer do the devil and the chains of habitual sin control my life. I praise You for the victory You won for me through Your death on the cross and Your resurrection from the dead. I pray for my family and friends receiving this Bible Promise email who may be walking through the valley of the shadow of death and desperately need the hope of Your salvation. I ask You to rescue them today from the pit of despair as they cry out to You for mercy and salvation. I ask in Your mighty name.

Divine Truth:
"In our work together with God, then, we beg you who have received God's grace not to let it be wasted. God says, "At the right time I heard you. On the day of salvation I helped you." Listen, now is God's acceptable time! Now is the day of salvation! 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

CHANGED: The Spirit of the Lord will change you into a different person - 1 Samuel 10:6

The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person. 1 Samuel 10:6

Prayer:

I got a brand-new life, a brand-new identity, and a brand-new purpose. I am no longer the person I once was, Lord God, since Jesus came into my life. I praise You for transforming me into a different person in Christ through the power of Your Holy Spirit. As Your Spirit empowered Saul to prophesy, empower me to be a bold witness of Jesus Christ, proclaiming the Good News of salvation to hopeless people who feel lost and forgotten. Lord Jesus, let Your Holy Spirit bring lasting change to their life as they believe Your truth. I ask in Your mighty name, Amen

Life-Changing Truth:

• "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be My witnesses, telling people about Me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
• "This means that anyone who is in Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!" 2 Corinthians 5:17

ANOINTED: The Lord has anointed you with His Spirit - 1 Samuel 10:1

At daybreak the next morning, Samuel called to Saul, “Get up! It’s time you were on your way.” So Saul got ready, and he and Samuel left the house together. When they reached the edge of town, Samuel told Saul to send his servant on ahead. After the servant was gone, Samuel said, “Stay here, for I have received a special message for you from God.” Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it on Saul’s head and kissed him, saying, “Has not the LORD anointed you, ruler over His inheritance? 1 Samuel 9:26-10:1

Prayer:
As Samuel anointed Saul, so I thank You, Heavenly Father, for the anointing of Your Holy Spirit upon my life. Your living Word declares:
"Now it is God who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us, who has also put His seal on us and given us His Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee." 2 Corinthians 1:21–22
I feel incredibly grateful for choosing me and setting me apart in Christ Jesus for a life filled with purpose and eternal hope. Teach me, Holy Spirit, to live out the anointing God has placed on my life as one of His children, bringing glory to His name and honor to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Infallible Truth:

• "You, however, have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth." 1 John 2:20
• "And as for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But just as His true and genuine anointing teaches you about all things, so remain in Him as you have been taught."  1 John 2:27

GUIDANCE: The Lord will tell you which way to go - 1 Samuel 9:6

Finally, they entered the region of Zuph, and Saul said to his servant, “Let’s go home. By now my father will be more worried about us than about the donkeys!” But the servant said, “I’ve just thought of something! There is a man of God who lives here in this town. He is held in high honor by all the people because everything he says comes true. Let’s go find him. Perhaps he can tell us which way to go.” 1 Samuel 9:5-6

Prayer:
Loving Father, I know that apart from Jesus, people have no clue how to guide their lives or direct their steps. I, too, once lived without the guidance of the Good Shepherd, troubled by uncertainty and lost in the paths of utter devastation. I praise You for sending Jesus Christ to find me and lift me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Mighty Shepherd, I honor You for rescuing me from the broad way that leads to destruction and guiding me along the narrow way that leads to eternal life. Everything You say comes true and will come to pass. Let me hear Your voice saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” I ask in Your mighty name.
