NAME: Your name will remain in the Book of Life - Revelation 3:5

The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the Book of Life, but will acknowledge that name before My Father and His angels. Revelation 3:5

Hymn Lyrics: "IS MY NAME WRITEN THERE?"
Lord, I care not for riches, neither silver nor gold;
I would make sure of heaven, I would enter the fold.
In the book of Thy Kingdom with its pages so fair,
Tell me, Jesus, my Savior, is my name written there?

Lord, my sins they are many, like the sands of the sea,
But Thy blood, O my Savior, is sufficient for me;
For Thy promise is written in bright letters that glow,
"Though your sins be as scarlet, I will make them like snow."

O that beautiful city with its mansions of light,
With its glorified beings in pure garments of white;
Where no evil thing cometh to despoil what is fair,
Where the angels are watching, yes, my name's written there.

Yes, my name’s written there
On the page, white and fair;
In the book of Thy Kingdom,
Yes, my name’s written there!

Praise & Prayer:
Not by my works, but because of Your sacrificial love, boundless mercy, and amazing grace, Lord Jesus, I have the hope of being with You for all eternity. My heart is filled with praise as I read Your promise and trust that my name is written in Your Book of Life. Help me develop a steadfast faith, Holy Spirit, so I end life on earth as an overcomer by obeying the commands of my Lord Jesus, and hear Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant, enter into my Kingdom and let Me introduce you to My Father and His holy angels." This I pray in Jesus' mighty name.

DRESSED: You will walk with Jesus and be dressed in white - Revelation 3:4

Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. Revelation 3:4

Life Transforming Truth:
  • "But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin." 1 John 1:7
  • “Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are as red as crimson, they will become like wool." Isaiah 1:18
  • "If we make it our habit to confess our sins, in His faithful righteousness, He forgives us for those sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness."1 John 1:9
Prayer:
Merciful Savior, I come with humility before Your presence and ask You to forgive all my transgressions. Wash and cleanse me with Your precious blood, which purifies my spirit, heart, mind, and body, making them white as snow. Thank You for teaching me to hate sin and embrace a heart of obedience, so I learn to resist the devil's temptations and not allow my clothes to be soiled. Help me, Holy Spirit, to be dressed in the garments of righteousness that Christ Jesus has given me. Use me this day to help someone resist the lures of sin that Satan dangles before them to defile their soul. I ask in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

RULE: Hold on until Jesus comes, and you will rule - Revelation 2:25,27

Just hold on to what you have until I come. I have received authority from My Father. I will give authority over the nations to everyone who wins the victory and continues to do what I want until the end. Those people will rule the nations with iron scepters and shatter them like pottery. Revelation 2:25-27

Prayer:
I will hold on to Jesus until the end, for He is faithful. Help me, Holy Spirit, to hold fast to Christ's unfailing promises, which anchor my faith in the storms of life. Teach me to be diligent in doing His will by reading and keeping His living word and remaining steadfast in prayer. Use me this day to strengthen a family member or fellow believer in the faith who is defeated and battered by personal hardships. Revive their faith so they hold on to Jesus as we read the Holy Scriptures and pray in the mighty name of Christ our Savior.

KNOWN: The Lord Jesus knows you! Revelation 2:19

I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first. Revelation 2:19

Living Truth:
  • “I Am the Good Shepherd; I know My sheep and My sheep know Me.” John 10:14
  • “You have searched me, Lord, and You know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar.” Psalm 139:1-2
  • “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart for my holy purpose. I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations. ” Jeremiah 1:5
Prayer:
To be Your servant, Lord Jesus, is my life's greatest honor. I praise You for helping me overcome misconceptions about my worth and feelings of being forgotten or unimportant. Holy Spirit, please remind me that my deeds, love, faith, service, and perseverance for Christ are never forgotten. Lead someone across my path today who feels unworthy and alone. Grant me the opportunity to share this wonderful truth that Jesus knows everything about them. I pray for their spirit, heart, and mind to be healed so they comprehend their worth in the eyes of our Heavenly Father and Risen Savior. I ask in Jesus' mighty name.

NEW: The victorious will be given hidden manna, a white stone, and a new name - Revelation 2:17

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the Messianic communities. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it. Revelation 2:17

Meaning of Hidden manna, White stone, & New name:
  • Hidden Manna: Refers to the spiritual sustenance that Christ, the Bread of Life, provides to the one who is victorious. Just as manna sustained the Israelites in the wilderness, the Lord Jesus sustains you now and for all eternity.
  • White Stone: In ancient times, a white stone symbolized acceptance, distinction, or validation. A tangible sign of an inseparable and personal relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
  • New name: It signifies the evidence of a transformed identity by accepting Christ and being faithful in serving Him, no matter the cost. You are born again and made a new creation with a new life, a new mission, and new hope that is gifted to you by the Messiah. (Saul to Paul. Simon to Peter. Abram to Abraham. Sarai to Sarah. Jacob to Israel. What will your new name be?)
Prayer:
Speak, Lord Jesus, your servant is listening. As I hear Your voice of truth in this amazing prophecy, it fills my heart with living hope. I surrender my life to You, trusting in Your perfect will and power that nourishes, strengthens, and sustains me. Holy Spirit, I want to hear what You are saying to me so I may remain faithful in serving my Savior and end my life as a victorious Christian, and partake of the hidden manna, receive a white stone, and a new name. I praise and honor my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who alone is worthy.

CROWN: Be faithful to Jesus, and He will give you the victor's crown - Revelation 2:10

Don't be afraid of anything you are about to suffer. Listen! The Devil will put you to the test by having some of you thrown into prison, and your troubles will last ten days. Be faithful to Me, even if it means death, and I will give you the victor’s crown. Revelation 2:10

Living Truth:
  • "Yes, everyone who wants to live a godly life in union with Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." 2 Timothy 3:12
  • "Blessed are you if you are insulted because you are Christ's followers; this means that the glorious Spirit, the Spirit of God, is resting on you. If you suffer, it must not be because you are a murderer or a thief or a criminal or a meddler in other people's affairs. However, if you suffer because you are a Christian, don't be ashamed of it, but thank God that you bear Christ's name." 1 Peter 4:14-16

Prayer & Praise:
I am willing, Lord Jesus, to suffer for Your name's sake. I bow in reverence and will forever praise and thank You for the crown of thorns, brutal torture, agonizing pain, and the horrible death You willingly endured for me at the cross. Please, Holy Spirit, replace fear with faith so I have the courage to be a Christ follower, even if it means I must be imprisoned and suffer for a little while. Rest on me so I pass the test and remain faithful to the end. I ask in Jesus' mighty name.
