WIN: "The LORD will help you win the battle." 1 Samuel 14:6

No one realized that Jonathan had left the Israelite camp. To reach the Philistine outpost, Jonathan had to go down between two rocky cliffs that were called Bozez and Seneh. The cliff on the north was in front of Micmash, and the one on the south was in front of Geba. Jonathan and the armor bearer who carried his weapons talked as they went toward the Philistine camp. "It's just the two of us against all those godless men," Jonathan said. "But the LORD can help a few soldiers win a battle just as easily as He can help a whole army. Maybe the LORD will help us win this battle." 1 Samuel 14:3b-6

Prayer:

Is anything too hard for You, Lord God? Absolutely nothing! With all sincerity, I testify that You are the God of miracles who has helped me overcome battles that once seemed impossible. Like Jonathan and his armor-bearer, I faced overwhelming odds and saw only the smallest glimmer of hope, so I cried out to You for help. You strengthened me, fought for me, and gave me the victory through Jesus Christ my Savior. God of my salvation, I bring before You family members and friends whom You know by name that are in a battle right now, facing hardships that have left them feeling hopeless. I ask You to please perform a miracle and help them win the battle as they pray in Jesus’ mighty name!

RULE: "Pursue the LORD’s heart, and He will prepare you to rule." 1 Samuel 13:14

But now your reign will not endure. The LORD has found a man after His own heart, and the LORD has appointed him as ruler over His people, because you have not done what the LORD commanded. 1 Samuel 13:14

Prayer:
Gracious Father, I desire a heart like that of Jesus Christ, one that is pleasing to You. I recognize that Saul’s failure as both a leader and a father was rooted in disobedience. When his circumstances seemed desperate, he made the grave mistake of relying on his own understanding and making rash decisions instead of obeying the word You had given him through Samuel. Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to You. Please teach me to wait on our Father's timing so I don't repeat the mistakes of king Saul. Holy Spirit, help me this day to demonstrate that I have a heart after God’s own heart by being mindful of and obedient to His commands. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, my King.  

Sacred Truth:

INSTRUCTION: The Lord will instruct you in the way - 1 Samuel 12:23

As far as I am concerned, far be it from me to sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you! I will instruct you in the way that is good and upright. 1 Samuel 12:23

Prayer:
Instruct me, O LORD, in what You would have me do, and lead me along a good and upright path, for I am lost without You. Lord Jesus, please give me a humble, teachable heart that reveres God, so I may serve Him faithfully with fervent passion. Stir my heart, as You stirred Samuel’s, to pray without ceasing for family and friends who have drifted away from the faith. Holy Spirit, help me be a doer of good so I may instruct others in ways to be upright and pleasing to the LORD. Grant me opportunities today to help strengthen the faith of those You bring across my path by praying with and for them. I ask this in Jesus’ mighty name.

SECURITY: "The LORD rescued you so that you may live in security." 1 Samuel 12:11

“Then they cried to the LORD again and confessed, ‘We have sinned by turning away from the LORD and worshiping the images of Baal and Ashtoreth. But we will worship You and You alone if You will rescue us from our enemies.’ Then the LORD sent Jerubbaal (Gideon) and Bedan and Jephthah and Samuel, and He rescued you from the hand of your enemies on every side, and you lived in security. 1 Samuel 12:10-11

Worship & Praise:
I am safe in the arms of Jesus. Merciful Father, I kneel before You with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for reminding me through this Scripture that You never give up on Your children or on me. Just as You raised up faithful servants to rescue Israel, You have been gracious to send godly men and women to strengthen and help me in times of sorrow and insecurity. Above all, I thank You that my true security is found in Jesus Christ—not in people, possessions, or circumstances. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for rescuing me from the powers of darkness and bringing me into Your marvelous light. Use me today to help turn someone who is worshipping the images of this world [Baal and Ashtoreth] back to faith in You. I ask in Your mighty name, my Savior.

Affirmation: "All of the idols of this world promise fulfillment but always leave your soul empty. Only Jesus Christ rescues, satisfies, and gives you eternal security."

GREAT-THINGS: "Remember the great things the LORD has done for you." 1 Samuel 12:7

“The LORD and his anointed one are my witnesses today,” Samuel declared, “that my hands are clean.” “Yes, He is a witness,” they replied. “It was the LORD who appointed Moses and Aaron,” Samuel continued. “He brought your ancestors out of the land of Egypt. Now stand here quietly before the LORD as I remind you of all the great things the LORD has done for you and your ancestors. 1 Samuel 12:5-7

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please forgive me for the many times I quickly forget the great things You have done for me, especially during seasons of trial and testing. Holy Spirit, never stop reminding me of God's mighty works and the innumerable miracles He has accomplished and continues to perform for me through Jesus Christ. Keep my heart fixed on Christ's faithfulness, so I never lose sight of His goodness, favor, and everlasting love. Lord Jesus, use me today to encourage someone who has forgotten the great things God has done for them. Help me bring them back to the memory lane of Calvary so that their faith is renewed and their hope is restored in our God of miracles. I pray in Your mighty name. Amen.

SALVATION: This is the day the LORD has saved you - 1 Samuel 11:13

But Saul said, "No one will be put to death today, for this is the day the LORD saved Israel." 1 Samuel 11:13

Prayer:
I celebrate this truth and boldly proclaim that today is the day of salvation. Lord Jesus, I sing songs of praise and worship because You saved me from my enemies as You did for Israel. No longer do the devil and the chains of habitual sin control my life. I praise You for the victory You won for me through Your death on the cross and Your resurrection from the dead. I pray for my family and friends receiving this Bible Promise email who may be walking through the valley of the shadow of death and desperately need the hope of Your salvation. I ask You to rescue them today from the pit of despair as they cry out to You for mercy and salvation. I ask in Your mighty name.

Divine Truth:
"In our work together with God, then, we beg you who have received God's grace not to let it be wasted. God says, "At the right time I heard you. On the day of salvation I helped you." Listen, now is God's acceptable time! Now is the day of salvation! 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

CHANGED: The Spirit of the Lord will change you into a different person - 1 Samuel 10:6

The Spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person. 1 Samuel 10:6

Prayer:

I got a brand-new life, a brand-new identity, and a brand-new purpose. I am no longer the person I once was, Lord God, since Jesus came into my life. I praise You for transforming me into a different person in Christ through the power of Your Holy Spirit. As Your Spirit empowered Saul to prophesy, empower me to be a bold witness of Jesus Christ, proclaiming the Good News of salvation to hopeless people who feel lost and forgotten. Lord Jesus, let Your Holy Spirit bring lasting change to their life as they believe Your truth. I ask in Your mighty name, Amen
