NEW: The victorious will be given hidden manna, a white stone, and a new name - Revelation 2:17

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the Messianic communities. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it. Revelation 2:17

Meaning of Hidden manna, White stone, & New name:
  • Hidden Manna: Refers to the spiritual sustenance that Christ, the Bread of Life, provides to the one who is victorious. Just as manna sustained the Israelites in the wilderness, the Lord Jesus sustains you now and for all eternity.
  • White Stone: In ancient times, a white stone symbolized acceptance, distinction, or validation. A tangible sign of an inseparable and personal relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ.
  • New name: It signifies the evidence of a transformed identity by accepting Christ and being faithful in serving Him, no matter the cost. You are born again and made a new creation with a new life, a new mission, and new hope that is gifted to you by the Messiah. (Saul to Paul. Simon to Peter. Abram to Abraham. Sarai to Sarah. Jacob to Israel. What will your new name be?)
Prayer:
Speak, Lord Jesus, your servant is listening. As I hear Your voice of truth in this amazing prophecy, it fills my heart with living hope. I surrender my life to You, trusting in Your perfect will and power that nourishes, strengthens, and sustains me. Holy Spirit, I want to hear what You are saying to me so I may remain faithful in serving my Savior and end my life as a victorious Christian, and partake of the hidden manna, receive a white stone, and a new name. I praise and honor my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who alone is worthy.

CROWN: Be faithful to Jesus, and He will give you the victor's crown - Revelation 2:10

Don't be afraid of anything you are about to suffer. Listen! The Devil will put you to the test by having some of you thrown into prison, and your troubles will last ten days. Be faithful to Me, even if it means death, and I will give you the victor’s crown. Revelation 2:10

Living Truth:
  • "Yes, everyone who wants to live a godly life in union with Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." 2 Timothy 3:12
  • "Blessed are you if you are insulted because you are Christ's followers; this means that the glorious Spirit, the Spirit of God, is resting on you. If you suffer, it must not be because you are a murderer or a thief or a criminal or a meddler in other people's affairs. However, if you suffer because you are a Christian, don't be ashamed of it, but thank God that you bear Christ's name." 1 Peter 4:14-16

Prayer & Praise:
I am willing, Lord Jesus, to suffer for Your name's sake. I bow in reverence and will forever praise and thank You for the crown of thorns, brutal torture, agonizing pain, and the horrible death You willingly endured for me at the cross. Please, Holy Spirit, replace fear with faith so I have the courage to be a Christ follower, even if it means I must be imprisoned and suffer for a little while. Rest on me so I pass the test and remain faithful to the end. I ask in Jesus' mighty name.

RICH: The poor are made rich in Christ Jesus - Revelation 2:9

I know your troubles; I know that you are poor--but really you are rich! I know the evil things said against you by those who claim to be Jews but are not; they are a group that belongs to Satan! Revelation 2:9

Living Truth:
  • “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.: Matthew 5:3
  • "Looking up at His disciples, Jesus said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God." Luke 6:20
  • "God has hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Christ." Colossians 2:3
Prayer:
I am truly blessed with endless riches in Christ, my Savior. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the priceless treasures of salvation, eternal life, freedom, love, peace, joy, wisdom, understanding, and eternal hope You have given me through Your beloved Son. Lord Jesus, I kneel to thank You for lifting me from the ash heaps of poverty and never forgetting me in times of trouble. You are my greatest treasure and the source of my fulfillment. Use me, Holy Spirit, to share the great riches of Christ with those who are spiritually impoverished. I pray for their salvation in Jesus' mighty name, AMEN.

VICTORIOUS: Christ makes you victorious - Revelation 2:7

Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious, they will eat from the tree of life in the Paradise of God. Revelation 2:7

Prayer:
As I read this Holy Scripture, I recall, Lord Jesus, how my life was a complete mess and a total failure without You. I felt hopeless and lived in defeat every day because of my sinful lifestyle. But now, because of what You did for me on the cross, I am forgiven of my sins, saved from condemnation, more than a victor, and filled with hope of being with You in Paradise. Please speak to me, Holy Spirit, and give me understanding of what You are saying so that I keep the words of Christ in my heart and continue to press ahead as a servant of Jesus Christ until the day I leave this earth. I ask in His mighty name. Amen.

KNOWN: The Lord Jesus knows you - Revelation 2:2

I know your deeds, your hard work, and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. Revelation 2:2

Prayer:
Jesus knows me. No one and nothing ever escapes Your eyes, Lord Jesus. I want my deeds, hard work, and perseverance to bring honor and glory to You. Holy Spirit, please help me persevere in the faith by being steadfast and immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, remembering that all I do for Christ has eternal significance. I ask in Jesus' mighty name.

FEAR-NOT: Do not fear, the Living One has conquered death - Revelation 1:17-18

When I saw Him, I fell at his feet like a dead person. But He put His right hand on me and said, "Do not fear!" I Am the First, the Last, and the Living One. I died, but now I Am alive forever, and I have the keys to death and the world of the dead. Revelation 1:17-18

Powerful Truth:
  • "No fear exists where His love is. Rather, perfect love gets rid of fear, because fear involves punishment. The person who lives in fear doesn't have perfect love." 1 John 4:18
  • "But now, this is what the LORD says—He who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine!" Isaiah 43:1
  • "Aren't five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one sparrow is forgotten by God. Even every hair on your head has been counted. Don't be afraid! You are worth more than many sparrows." Luke 12:6-7
Prayer & Praise:
Fear no longer rules my soul because the Living One, who conquered sin and the powers of darkness and holds the keys to death, lives within me. I fall at Your feet, Lord Jesus, to worship and honor You, the First and the Last. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Please place Your right hand on me and let me hear Your precious voice above the noise of this world, which anchors my soul in hope and perfect love that casts out all fear. All glory, honor, and majesty be Yours forever and ever. Hallelujah!
