Now it was so, when she came to him, that she persuaded him to ask her father for a field. So she dismounted from her donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What do you wish?” She answered, “Give me a blessing; since you have given me land in the South, give me also springs of water.” So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs. Prayer
God loves to bless me and has shined His light upon me in Jesus Christ my Lord. Merciful Father, give me Your Holy Spirit that I may be more like Jesus. Give me Your eyes to see others as You see them. Give me Your love that I may be more patient and kind. Give me my daily bread. Give me direction O Lord continually, and satisfy my soul in drought. Make fat my bones that I may be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. In the holy name of Jesus
