Prayer
God is merciful and takes away all my shame. Forgive me O Lord, for placing my hope in people, materials things, or financial gain rather than in You alone. Forgive for being harsh to people when You have been so kind to me. Forgive me when I say things that tear down instead of building others up. Forgive me for being selfish when there are so many family members, co-workers and friends that are needy and are lost without Jesus Christ. I accept Your wonderful forgiveness and ask You to change my heart so I can be more like Jesus who loves me and gave His life to save me from my sin. In His holy name I pray. Amen
