But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:4
Prayer
Love is patient. But You, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient, always faithful and ready to forgive. Loving Father, form in me the virtue of patience that I may learn to be long-suffering like Jesus my Lord. Help me to stay under control at all times by not reacting in the flesh when I am in pressure situations at work, school or home. Enable me through Your Holy Spirit to stay calm and composed for all things are under Your control. In the blessed name of Jesus I pray.
PATIENCE
Patience is a virtue that everybody knows.
Its opposite is one of mankind’s greatest foes.
Without patience in our lives we are destitute
Because without patience everyone is just a brute.
So sprinkle life with patience for everyone you know,
And your relationships and friendships will blossom and grow.
When you use it with your children their love is your reward,
You’ll see a change in family life because there is less discord.
So when your ire is raised be careful how you speak,
Say things with great patience and you’ll get the reaction that you seek.
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
