Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from your enemies all around, in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance, that you will blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. You shall not forget.
Prayer
Jesus Christ gives my soul rest. I come to You Lord Jesus in my labors and with my burdens for You have promised to give me rest. I take Your yoke upon me today and seek to learn from You. Teach me to be gentle and lowly in heart, that I may find rest for my soul. For Your yoke is easy and Your burden is light. Enable me overcome the Amaleks in my life that seek to rob my joy, peace, and rest. Give me Your rest so I can experience true freedom from worries and anxieties that shackle my faith. Help me to press on and move forward towards the prize on high. Give me renewed rest, renewed strength, renewed vision, renewed wisdom, and renewed power to walk and live as a child of God. In Your worthy name. Amen
