Devotional Prayer
God will strengthen me. O LORD, be merciful to me, and raise me up from the pit of my despair. Form in me the character of perseverance and remind me that You are always there to lift me up when I fall and will never give up on me. Gird me with strength to rise up and to press forward in following Jesus, the Captain of my salvation. Don't let me envy the mighty of this world who boast of their greatness. Keep my heart humble and grant me an opportunity today to lift up a family member, co-worker or friend that has stumbled or is discouraged. I pray in the blessed name of Jesus Christ.
