Consecration-Joshua 7:13

Why am I here and what is the purpose of my life? Have you come to realize that life without God is an unsolvable mystery? It's easy to believe the lie of the devil and think that you will find satisfaction and fulfillment in things that fade away rather than in the Creator. God wants to be first in your life because He made you for Himself. You have been given a free-will to chose being consecrated to God or to do your own thing like Achan who came to total ruin for choosing temporal gain over obedience to God's command. What will you choose to do?    

Daily Bible Verse: "Go, consecrate the people. Tell them, ‘Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow; for this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There are devoted things among you, Israel. You cannot stand against your enemies until you remove them. Joshua 7:13

Today's Prayer

Consecrated to God. I am yours O LORD and ask You to consecrate (set aside) my life for Your purpose. Grant me inner strength to deny myself when tempted to sin. Form in me the virtue of self-control so I never compromise my relationship with You by coveting unjust gain or temporal gratification. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
