Cross the Jordan River-Joshua 1:2

What does it mean to cross the Jordon River? There is only one way to get to the promise land (eternal life) and that is through death. Jesus crossed the Jordon River for you that you might have the hope of everlasting life. Today's Bible verse encourages you to step out of our comfort zone and to not be afraid in crossing the Jordan River because Jesus holds the Keys to life and death. He will be with you and help you cross the Jordon River. 


Verse for Today - After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide: “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites. Joshua 1:1-2 NIV


Today's Prayer

The way down leads to the upward way. Prepare me Lord Jesus to cross the Jordan that I may enter into the promise land and experience the bountiful spiritual riches that You have planned for me in this new year. Give me courage to face my fears and strength of faith to wrestle against principalities, against rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places. In Your victorious name I pray
