Cities of Refuge-Joshua 20:2

Are you in danger? Do you live in fear? Have you committed a crime and face dire consequences? Today's Bible verse gives you assurance that God is your divine protector. God commanded Joshua to designate cities of refuge for protection when someone committed an unintentional crime or serious offense. Today, your city of refuge is Jesus Christ who died on the cross to bring you under the shelter of His fold. Flee right now to Jesus who is a city of refuge and will be fence of protection all around you.

Promise for divine protection: Then the Lord said to Joshua: “Tell the Israelites to designate the cities of refuge, as I instructed you through Moses, so that anyone who kills a person accidentally and unintentionally may flee there and find protection from the avenger of blood. Joshua 20:1-3 NIV

Prayer for protection

Jesus is my refuge and strength, a present help in time of trouble. I run to You Lord Jesus for You my city of refuge who protects me when I blow it. My fears and worries disappear when I take shelter under Your wings. Lead me O LORD to troubled soul that You seek to save and protect from the avenger of blood. In Your blessed name I pray

I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
