Do you see yourself as strong or weak? Do you live with self-defeating thoughts that discourage you from taking risks and bring you down? Today's Bible Promise reveals Joshua's perception of God's people. In Jesus Christ, you are made strong in weakness. You may see yourself as unlikely to succeed and defeat the strong giants of darkness like the tribes of Joseph, however, God love you and He uses the weak to shame the strong and He will make you very powerful.
Bible promise for strength in time of weakness: But Joshua said to the tribes of Joseph—to Ephraim and Manasseh—“You are numerous and very powerful. You will have not only one allotment but the forested hill country as well. Clear it, and its farthest limits will be yours; though the Canaanites have chariots fitted with iron and though they are strong, you can drive them out.” Joshua 17:17-18
Today's Prayer
God's grace is sufficient for me. Father God, please help me overcome thoughts of inadequacy and self-defeat by remembering that my strength is made perfect in weakness. Teach me to glory in my handicaps, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. In Jesus name I pray.
