I will see God-Job 19:26

Do you yearn to see God? Jesus tells us in Matthew 5 that only the pure in heart shall see God. Sin (deliberate disobedience, transgression,violation of God's laws, etc.) is what defiles you and separates you from God. We live in a world  that promotes the sins of pornography, promotes adulterous relationships, glorifies sexual immorality, impurity, and desecration of life, however, Jesus came to set the standard for purity and holiness of life. If God is sinless and only the pure in heart can see Him, how then can you be made pure? Only through faith in the powerful blood of Jesus Christ. In 1 John 1:7 we are given the wonderful promise that the blood of Jesus has the cleansing power to wash away ALL of your sins and make you spotless before the eyes of God. The purity of Christ will be transferred into your life if you call upon His name and place your faith in His righteousness.   

Promise of seeing God

And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes—I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me! Job 19:26-27 NIV

Prayer to see God

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Heavenly Father, give me an undivided heart like Jesus that loves purity and hates to sin. Wash me with His precious blood and I will be whiter than snow. Give me the strength to turn away and flee from the dirty things of this world that defile my conscience (mind-thoughts), eyes (light), heart (motives), and body (temple). My heart yearns for the day when I shall You face to face. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
