Prayer for understanding

Holy Father, I pray for a listening heart that hears Your voice so I grow in understanding and be a greater blessing to my family and people in the marketplace who don't know Jesus. Teach me how to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Deliver me from being a reactionary Christian who jumps to conclusions based on my own presumptions or experiences. Holy Spirit, lead someone to who is lacking understanding and needs to pat attention the voice of Jesus. I pray in His mighty name. Amen
