Belief: Jesus gives me the power to forgive the wrongs of those who have hurt me.


Prayer to have the fortitude to forgive

I praise You, Lord Jesus, for the great mercy that You have shown me by forgiving all of my sins and transgressions. I pray for the people in my life who have hurt me and ask You to give me inner strength through the power of Your Holy Spirit to forgive them. Holy Spirit, help me to show mercy today by being a forgiving Christian who does not hold on to grudges. Remind me that the Lord is able to bring good out of broken relationships or tough situations. In Jesus mighty name, amen.
