Prayer of the day

Loving Father, You are the creator of all things and nothing is too hard for You. Forgive me for making excuses at times when I allow feelings of inadequacy to get the best of me. Holy Spirit, stop me in my tracks when negative self-talk begins to peek its head so I remain strong in faith. Teach me to immediately rely on God's power by remembering His promise to be my helper. Lead me to someone today who is feeling incompetent and is stressed out. Use me to help remind them that the Lord is a very present help in time of trouble. In Jesus' mighty name.
