And the next day God did it. All the livestock of Egypt died, but not one animal of the Israelites died. Pharaoh sent men to find out what had happened and there it was: none of the livestock of the Israelites had died—not one death. But Pharaoh stayed stubborn. He wouldn’t release the people. Exodus 9:6-7 MSG

Prayer for today

Heavenly Father, thank You for showing me mercy and keeping true to Your word by doing everything that You promise. I see how You are so patient and grant people like Pharaoh numerous opportunities to repent and turn from having a stubborn heart. Holy Spirit, lead me to someone today who has a misconception about God and Jesus. Convict their conscience of sin, and of God's righteousness, and of the coming judgment so they turn from having a rebellious heart. Help me to be patient and grant me an opportunity to share what Jesus did on the cross to prove how much He loves hard-headed sinners like me. In Jesus name, I pray.
