After Moses had sent away his wife Zipporah, his father-in-law Jethro received her and her two sons. One son was named Gershom (foreigner ), for Moses said, “I have become a foreigner in a foreign land”; and the other was named Eliezer, (my God is helper) for he said, “My father’s God was my helper; he saved me from the sword of Pharaoh.” Exodus 18:2-4

Prayer of the day | Daily Prayer of Victory

Thank You, Lord God, for being my helper as I journey through this world to my heavenly home. Holy Spirit, cast out all fear from my heart and insecurity from my mind by reminding me that God will never leave me nor forsake me. Lead me to someone today who feels helpless and afraid. Use me to be a source of hope by sharing with them that "The Lord is your helper and He will save you." I pray for their salvation in Jesus' precious name.
