Prayer for today - The need for rest by trusting

Thank You, blessed Father for the gift of  Sabbath (rest). I realize that my troubled soul finds rest in thee, Lord Jesus, for You are my hope and salvation. I lay my burdens and worries before Your throne of grace because I know You care for me. Holy Spirit, let me experience perfect rest today by trusting in Jesus who supplies my every need. Lead me to someone today who is weighed down by the stresses of work and burdens of life. Use me to be a source of encouragement by sharing this promise and bringing them to Jesus. In His mighty name, I pray.
