We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put His love on the line for us by offering His Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to Him. Romans 5:7-8 MSG

Prayer for today | Daily prayer to experience the surpassing and sacrificial love of God 

Heavenly Father, thank You, for putting Your love on the line for me by offering Jesus as the sacrifice for my sins. Your incomparable love shatters my guilt and disgrace. Holy Spirit, remind me of God's selfless sacrifice and unconditional love when I feel undeserving or unworthy. Bring someone across my path today who is struggling with conceptualizing the sacrificial love of God. Allow me to show them a token of God's amazing love through acts of compassionate care. I pray for their salvation in Jesus' holy name.
