Prayer to be a helpful Christian

Lord Jesus, I thank You for giving me another day of life filled with opportunities to help people who are in need of care and support. I want to impact lives by walking in Your footsteps and doing good to others. Holy Spirit, direct me to people today that You want me to help in whatever way I can through acts of kindness or words of encouragement. Let my actions communicate to them that they matter to God and are important to me. I pray in Jesus' mighty name.
