GIVING: You bless others by being a giver - Romans 15:27

Holy Scripture of the day about being giver and the impact you have by pouring out to people

 

For you see, the believers in Macedonia and Achaia have eagerly taken up an offering for the poor among the believers in Jerusalem. They were glad to do this because they feel they owe a real debt to them. Since the Gentiles received the spiritual blessings of the Good News from the believers in Jerusalem, they feel the least they can do in return is to help them financially. Romans 15:26-27 NIV

Prayer to be a giver like Jesus

I'm grateful, Lord Jesus, for Your munificent grace and giving heart. For my sake, You became poor, so that through Your poverty You could make me rich. Thank You for enriching my life with family, friends, health, love, wisdom, employment, finances, and possessions that bring me joy and comfort. Most of all, I praise You for the gift of salvation and the hope of eternal life. Holy Spirit, teach me to have an attitude of gratitude so I learn to appreciate what I have received from the Lord. Allow me to be a cheerful giver today to someone who is physically poor or spiritually needy. I pray in Jesus' precious name.
