BAPTIZED - You are baptized into one body by the Spirit - 1 Corinthians 12:13

Holy scripture for today about being BAPTIZED into one body by the Spirit 


The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 NLT

Prayer to be one with other Christian believers

Thank You, Holy Father, for baptizing me in Your family of believers. Thank You, for Jesus who died on the cross to break down racial, social, and religious walls of separation among the body of Christian believers. Holy Spirit, teach me to fulfill my role in the body of Christ by working together as one. Stop me from doing things that cause division or discord with other Christians. Lead me to people today who feel disconnected from other believers that have done things to cause division. Use me to help them understand how they are baptized into one body and are deeply interconnected with God's family. In Jesus' mighty name.
