Truth: “The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with My word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” – God Almighty, Isaiah 55:10-11

Prayer for today

Loving Savior, as I read this passage, I am filled with hope by seeing the perfect fulfillment of the Holy Scriptures. Heaven and earth will fade away, but Your words will never pass away. Keep me Holy Spirit grounded in God’s living Word when I face times of trouble. Teach me to trust in the LORD with all my heart and to not rely on what I think I  know. Guide me to someone today who has forsaken Jesus and is crushed by feelings of guilt and shame. Use me to help explain that guilt and shame are emotions given to us by God to draw us back to Himself for reconciliation, forgiveness, and healing. Save them in in the mighty name of Jesus.
