Prayer for today

I trust in Your living word faithful Father, and believe that You are always present in my life. Bring to my remembrance Holy Spirit that You were sent by the Father to be my Comforter, Helper, Counselor, Teacher, and Guide. Train me to take captive the lies Satan fires at me when I face adversity. Lead me to someone today who feels friendless and alone. Use my care and words of encouragement to be a Christ-like fragrance that inspires their faith to trust in God who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. In Jesus' mighty name.
