Prayer for the New Year

Here I am loving Father at the close of 2019 before Your Holy presence. My heart is full of praise and gratitude for the mercy, compassion, patience, and undeserved goodness that You have shown to me through Christ Jesus. I place my dreams, hopes, desires, and life in Your hand. Shape me, change me, mold me and renew me Holy Spirit into the likeness of Christ. Rid me I pray of rotten thinking and toxic behaviors that contradict who I am in Jesus. Instruct me at the start of each day to put on the NEW NATURE the Lord has given me so I can be a force of love and light to my family and people in the marketplace in Jesus' mighty name.
