When the world comes crashing in
And chaos rules my mind,
I turn my heart to you, Lord,
And pure, sweet peace I find.

You lift me out of trouble
You comfort me in pain;
You nourish, heal and cleanse me,
Like cool, refreshing rain.

In times of joy and bliss,
When things are going right,
You lift me even higher,
And fill me with delight.

You listen to my prayers;
You hear my every plea;
I’m safe because I know
You’re always there for me.

Praise & Prayer for salvation

You, LORD God, are my salvation, so I will not be afraid. I bow before Your presence and boldly approach Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. I praise You for the forgiveness of my sin and rebellion. When I have failed You or dispised Your counsel like the children of Israel, You have shown me mercy. I cry out for Your salvation for believers in Ukraine who are in peril. I kneel and ask You to save them from the tyranny of Putin. Please use me this day, Holy Spirit, to bring the good news of salvation to someone distressed, alone, and troubled. I pray for a miracle of salvation as we cry out for help in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior.
