GOODNESS: You will experience God's goodness - Psalm 145:9

 The living word of hope for today about God is good to you.

God is all mercy and grace—not quick to anger, is rich in love. God is good to one and all; everything He does is soaked through with grace. Psalm 145:8-9 MSG

"Rest in the Lord!"--I saw it there,
On the tablets of the night.
And, comforted, I dropped my care
Where burdens have no weight.
Then, trustfully, I turned and slept,
And woke, and it was light.

God works to-day as He did of old
For the lightening of men's woes.
His wonders never can be told,
His goodness no man knows,--
His Love, His Power, His Tenderness,--
Nor shall do till life's close.

His kindness is so very great,
His greatness is so good.
He looks upon my low estate,
He gives me daily food.
And nothing is too small for Him,--
Yes, truly! God is good.

Praise & Prayer of thanks for God's goodness

I praise You, Lord Jesus, for destroying the lies of the devil who told me for years that "God is a tyrant avenger who enjoys punishing people." Thank You for revealing to me and all humanity that God is good to one and all. You demonstrated the fullness of God's grace and goodness by loving the helpless and saving the hopeless of this world. I proclaim this day that "GOD IS GOOD" even when life is hard. Fill me, Holy Spirit, with the goodness of Christ so I can be a blessing of good to my family, friends, and people who are clueless about God's goodness. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, my Savior. Amen!
