My dear friends, you always obeyed what you were taught. Just as you obeyed when I was with you, it is even more important for you to obey now that I am not there. So you must continue to live in a way that gives meaning to your salvation. Do this with fear and respect for God. Yes, it is God who is working in you. I praise You, Lord Jesus, for making reconciliation and peace with God possible for me and all humanity through Your victory at the cross. Loving Father, I am as clay in a Potter's hands and ask You to keep working in me and molding me into the image of Christ Jesus. I fear You out of love and respect because I know in my heart that You are a compassionate Father who wants the best for me and has given me the very best in Your beloved Son. Holy Spirit, fill my heart with a burning desire to be a God-pleaser. Empower me this day to be an obedient and faithful servant who brings joy to the hearts of my Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus by being a blessing to people You place in my path.
