For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with Him, you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. Colossians 2:12

Poem: "RAISED WITH CHRIST"

I've been shown I wasn't made

for some cold religion.

Jesus is my life-upgrade

through a true inner connection.
 
He did not come from the Father

to raise a building and steeple,

but to raise up sisters and brothers

and be the Life for His people.
 
He died for our sins, rose from the dead

to raise us up to His Life.

I'm meant to be, as I have read, 

conformed, be like my Christ.
 
I am raised with my Christ

to seek those things above

to abide in my Lord as my Life

and enjoy His faithful Love.

Praise & Prayer
I thank You, Lord Jesus, for resurrecting me from my deathly state to the life that I always longed for. Heavenly Father, I praise You for sending Your Son to make me a new creation and help me understand that You are the God of wonders and nothing is impossible for You. Holy Spirit, please guide two individuals across my path today who are spiritually dead because of their trespasses and sins. Revive their lifeless hearts so they may trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and experience the almighty power of God. Save them, O LORD, for in Your mighty name I pray. Hosanna!
