BOUGHT: You were bought at a great price - 1 Corinthians 6:20

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a great price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NIV

Eternal Truth: "For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. God chose Him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days He has been revealed for your sake." 1 Peter 1:18-20

Praise & Prayer
Because of You, Lord Jesus, my once futile and empty life is now filled with living hope and eternal purpose. Thank You for paying such a great price on the cross to ransom me from the prison of sin and my death sentence. I trust in Your precious and sinless blood, which pays the debt for all my sins and atones for all of my transgressions. I'm forever grateful for the great things You have done for me, and I commit to honoring God and You with my body by being a living sacrifice.  Holy Spirit, please teach me the physical and spiritual disciplines for taking care of my body, so that I'm always aware of being a temple for God. I pray in Jesus' mighty and holy name.
