LOVE: Greater love - John 15:15 (Honoring our Veterans)

Infallible Truth: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13; “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16; "For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for My sake will save it. Luke 9:24; “Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” Psalm 82:3-4; "Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer." 2 Timothy 2:3-4

Praise & Prayer

Heavenly Father, with deep gratitude in my heart, I come to thank You for the brave men and women who paid a great price by sacrificing their lives to defend and protect our country. We remember and honor their courage, service, and faithfulness in laying down for their family and friends. Most of all, I praise You for the ultimate sacrifice of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, who laid down His perfect life to free us from the powers of the evil one and to save us from the wages of sin and eternal death. It's an honor to be called a friend of Jesus. I ask You to please comfort the hearts of family members who have suffered the loss of loved ones with the perfect peace and living hope that only Christ can give. I pray in Jesus' mighty name, amen.
