RIGHT: You have the right to do anything, but seek the good of others -1 Corinthains 10:23

“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. No one should seek their own good, but the good of others. 1 Corinthians 10:23-24 NIV

Eternal Truth: "Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a servant and was born as a human being." Philippians 2:3-6

Praise & Prayer
I am in awe of Your sacrificial love, Lord Jesus, and Your willingness to set aside Your rights for the salvation and benefit of all humanity. Please forgive me, Lord, for my selfishness. I praise You for saving me from a life of sin and granting me new rights and privileges as a child of God—privileges that are meant for building up rather than tearing down. Teach me, Lord, to adopt Your attitude of servanthood by putting aside my own rights and seeking the good of others. Help me, Holy Spirit, to be an authentic disciple of Christ who models His grace and love. I pray in Your mighty name, amen.
