CORRECTION: The Lord corrects you because He loves you - Jeremiah 10:24

LORD, I know that none of us are in charge of our own destiny; none of us have control over our own life. Correct me, O LORD, but please be fair. Don't correct me when you're angry. Otherwise, you'll reduce me to nothing. Jeremiah 10:23-24

Living Truth: "Those I love I rebuke and discipline. Therefore, be earnest and repent." Revelation 3:19; "Blessed indeed is the person whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty." Job 5:17; "Have you forgotten the encouraging words which God speaks to you as His children? "My child, pay attention when the Lord corrects you, and do not be discouraged when He rebukes you. Because the Lord corrects everyone He loves, and disciplines everyone He accepts as a child." Hebrews 12:5-6

Prayer & Praise
I treasure Your correction, Loving Father, and find peace knowing You are in control and hold everything together. I need You every second of every day, and thank You for always being fair and understanding toward me. Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to You. Please never let me stray from the narrow path so I may finish the race of life as a victor of the heavenly prize of being with You for all eternity! Holy Spirit, keep me encouraged and engrave this truth upon my heart: "The LORD corrects me and disciplines me because He loves me." I pray in Jesus' mighty name. AMEN!

To my loving and patient wife, Michele, my beloved son David, my radiant daughter-in-law Blair, my cherished son Joshua, my compassionate daughter Anna, my steadfast son-in-law, Jeff, my empathetic daughter Christina, my go-getter son-in-law Miles, my bright and persevering granddaughter, Blake, my beautiful and tenderhearted granddaughter, Zoey, my strong and handsome grandson, Wyatt, my tender-hearted and precious granddaughter Talia, my jubilant and adorable granddaughter, Romi, and to all of my caring family and faithful friends. I will consider my life a great success if I have the joy of seeing each of you in God's eternal Kingdom. I ask you to please forgive me if I've wronged any of you and did not ask for your forgiveness. I love you and pray my life has influenced each of you in a small way to believe in Christ Jesus and to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior. I'm grateful to my Lord and humbled to have experienced an abundant and full life that was only possible by abiding in Him. It's difficult to put into words just how grateful I am for God's salvation. When I was 18 years old and lost all hope, Jesus came to my rescue. I'm so thankful that I've been able to experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment I accepted Christ and decided to follow Him. The Holy Spirit has been my Helper, Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, and Guide in teaching me to be like Jesus and relying on Him, until my last breath. I fought the good fight and learned that living for God, serving Jesus, and loving people has eternal rewards and zero regrets. To live for Christ is unimaginable gain and glorifying God is what matters most in life. Apart from Jesus, nothing else made much sense to me in life, and nothing else the world offered was worthy of my life's investment. To die in Christ is not the end, it's the doorway in Eternal Life through the power of His resurrection. I'll see you in a little while and pray to see you in heaven. Hector Perez.
