GOOD: Obey the LORD, and good things will happen to you - Jeremiah 7:23

I brought your ancestors out of Egypt. I spoke to them, but I did not give them any commands about burnt offerings and sacrifices. I only gave them this command: ‘Obey Me and I will be your God, and you will be My people. Do all that I command, and good things will happen to you.' Jeremian 7:22-23

Living Truth: “In fact, this is love for God: to keep His commands. And His commands are not burdensome.” 1 John 5:3; "Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.” Luke 11:28; "Then Samuel said, "Is the LORD as delighted with burnt offerings and sacrifices as he would be with your obedience? To follow instructions is better than to sacrifice. To obey is better than sacrificing the fat of rams."' 1 Samuel 15:22.

Prayer & Praise

I praise You, Abba Father, and trust in Your faithful promises that if I obey Your commands and walk in Your ways, I will continue to experience Your goodness all the days of my life. Holy Spirit, please teach me to embrace a heart of obedience as Christ Jesus, revealing I truly love God. Remind me that the abundant life God has given me in Christ is far greater than anything this world can ever provide. I glorify and pray in the mighty name of Jesus.
