Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence." Jeremiah 17:5-7
Infallible Truth: "With all your heart, you must trust the LORD and not your own judgment. Always let Him lead you, and He will clear the road for you to follow." Proverbs 3:5-6; "I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." Psalm 34:4
Praise & Prayer
I've come to understand the reality of this truth, O LORD, that it is far better to rely on You for strength and help than to place my trust in humans, who are flawed beings that often disappoint me. I praise You, Lord Jesus, for blessing me with Your perfect peace as I keep my mind and eyes steadfastly focused on You. Thank You for being my hope and confidence, whom I will trust forever. With joy in my heart, I confess You as my risen Savior who leads me to glory and never fails me. I glorify and praise Your holy name. Amen.
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
