EPHPHATHA: Jesus opens your ears to hear and mouth to speak - Mark 7:35

Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. There some people brought to Him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place His hand on him. After He took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put His fingers into the man’s ears. Then He spit and touched the man’s tongue. He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to Him, “Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”). At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly. Mark 7:31-35

Infallible Truth
"I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I Am sending you to them to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Me." Acts 26:17-18

Prayer & Praise
Lord Jesus, lover of my soul, I remember the day I heard You say to me, "Ephphatha!" My deaf ears were opened to hear Your sweet voice, and Your healing power loosened my tongue. Thank You for opening my heart to receive Your grace, mercy, peace, truth, and love. Thank you for opening my eyes to behold the light of Your wonderful glory. I go forth today with the ability to speak plainly and proclaim to others the great things You do for all who believe in You. Holy Spirit, please use me like Paul—to open the eyes of the spiritually blind so they can turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God through faith in Christ. I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus my Savior. Amen!
