PROSPERITY: The LORD's people will overflow with prosperity - Zechariah 1:17

"Proclaim further, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "My cities [people] will again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion [a sign; landmark], and will again choose Jerusalem [In Awe Of Peace; Teaching Peace]." Zechariah 1:17

Meaning of prosperity: "To overflow with good; Divine favor; To experience both physical and spiritual abundance; To live in security."

Living Truth:

• "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 
• "Beloved, I pray that in every way you may prosper and enjoy good health, as your soul also prospers." 3 John 1:2
• "Then Jesus said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in the abundance of things you possess.” Luke 21:15
• "I AM the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved and will live forever, and will go in and out freely, and find pasture, spiritual security. The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance to the full, till it overflows." John 10:9-10

I believe God's plans for me are good! I bow in reverence before You, Heavenly Father, to thank You for the glorious riches and prosperous life You have given me in Christ Jesus. As You see and well know, people of all languages and races associate a life of "prosperity" with net worth, earthly riches, fame, or an abundance of possessions that perish in the blink of an eye. Lord Jesus, I cannot praise You enough for blessing me with an abundant life, knowing it is only possible by abiding in You. I ask in Your mighty name that, in every way, You may prosper family members and friends who remain in You with good health, overwhelming love, comfort, joy, peace, and hope. Amen.
