Today's Bible Promise - "...Jesus...delivers us from the wrath to come." 1 Thes. 1:9-10

For they themselves declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come. 1 Thes. 1:9-10

Prayer
Living God, I praise You for delivering me the wrath and judgment to come through Jesus Christ. I bless You for teaching me that life cannot be found in the abundance of things that I posses. I no longer have to serve the idols of our society like covetousness, materialism, self-gratification, and sinful lusts. Teach me how to set a better example of generosity and unselfishness to my friends, family, and co-workers who need to turn to You and be delivered from idolatry. In the wonderful name of Jesus my Lord.
