BELONG: You belong to the LORD - 1 Samuel 1:28

“Sir, do you remember me?” Hannah asked. “I am the very woman who stood here several years ago praying to the Lord. I asked the Lord to give me this boy, and He has granted my request. Now I am giving him to the Lord, and he will belong to the Lord his whole life.” And they worshiped the Lord there. 1 Samuel 1:26-28

Prayer & Worship:
As Hannah, I recognize, Sovereign LORD, that my family, children, life, and all that I have belong to You. I praise You, Lord Jesus, for giving me the understanding that God is the creator and owner of all things. For in Him we live and move and have our being. We are His offspring and were created for His glory. Heavenly Father, I entrust my children and grandchildren into Your everlasting arms and ask You to draw their hearts to faith and to surrender to Christ Jesus. I make this request in His mighty name.

Eternal Truth:

• "God, for whom and through whom everything was made, chose to bring many children into glory. And it was only right that he should make Jesus, through His suffering, a Perfect Leader, fit to bring them into their salvation." Hebrews 2:10-11
• "But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand." Isaiah 64:8
• "For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together." Colossians 1:16-17
