But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. 2 Tim. 3:10-11
Prayer
When my soul was deep in sin and had no peace within, my Lord Jesus delivered me. You lift me up out of the horrible pit of sin, darkness and depression and set my feet upon the Rock. Lord Jesus I am so grateful for the constant love, powerful deliverance, and eternal victory that I have in You. Help me be a persevering and joyful Christian like Paul who is unashamed of Your name and rejoices in Your birth before my family, friends, co-workers and customers. Grant me opportunities today to pray and share the good news of Your love and salvation during this Christmas season. In Your wonderful name I pray
