Today's Bible Promise - "Our citizenship is in heaven" Philippians 3:20

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:20

Prayer
I'm an alien here on earth and my home is in heaven. Lord Jesus, I am reminded with this promise that I'm a pilgrim here on earth thats just passing through. Fill my heart with a desire for that better country, the heavenly one, where there is no more sin, no more death, no more tears, no more sicknesses, no more pain, and no more sorrow. Open my eyes to catch a glimpse and vision of of my heavenly mansion so that my heart does get anchored in the vain and temporary trinkets of this world. I eagerly wait for Your return to take me home. In Your wonderful name I pray.

THIS WORLD IS NOT MY HOME (Jim Reeves): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ndMZqT6i4I

This world is not my home I'm just a passing through
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue
The angels beckon me from heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore
Oh Lord you know I have no friend like you
If heaven's not my home then Lord what will I do
The angels beckon me from heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore

I have a loving mother just up in Gloryland
And I don't expect to stop until I shake her hand
She's waiting now for me in heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore
Oh Lord you know I have no friend like you
If heaven's not my home then Lord what will I do
The angels beckon me from heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore
