Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work. 2 Thes. 2:16-17
Consolation: To alleviate the grief; to comfort and lessen sorrow, or disappointment; to give solace.
Prayer
Jesus bore all my griefs and sorrows. Thank You loving Father, for always being there for me no matter what I face. I know You will never fail me, even in my most difficult troubles. I don't always understand why You allow certain trials, however, I trust You and know that You are in control in spite of my limited understanding. Replace my grief with Your gladness and joy, and let sorrow and disappointment flee away from my mind and heart. Make my mind a channel of Your peace and fill this heart of mine with good hope and everlasting consolation. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the promise, prayer, and song of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to "Christ, the Way, the Truth, & the Life" is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory to God.
