For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 1 Thes. 4:16-17
Prayer
The Lord Jesus is coming for me. Lord of mercy, thank You for loving me and giving my life eternal purpose. I bless You for the wonderful work You are doing in my life to prepare me for eternity. I need Your strength to persevere unto the end, for without You, I can do nothing. Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight for this world is not my home and heaven's best is yet to be. I'm looking up and looking forward to that day when I shall be with You forever in glory. In Your holy name I pray
