But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. 2 Tim. 3:10-11
Prayer
I am safe in the arms of Jesus. You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. Father of mercy, I appreciate Your lovingkindness which lifts me up out of my deep distress. Grant me inner peace and strength to not fear but to stand strong in the faith by enduring persecutions for Your name's sake. I will not be ashamed to call upon You my heavenly Father. I place my life in Your hands and trust You to use hardships and afflictions to form the character of Jesus in my life. In His blessed name I pray. Amen
HE'LL DELIVER ME
He will deliver me in my time of need
Like those hebrew children from the fire He'll free
Like He fed five thousand with two fishes and bread
Then He walked on the water, and He raised the dead
Well, He stood by Daniel in the lion's den
And He saved old Moses from Pharoah's men
He opened the eyes of the blind to see, so I know that He'll deliver me!
March through books of the Bible and meditate on the verse and prayer of the day to help strengthen your faith and personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Loving people with compassionate care and pointing them to Christ our Savior is how you will be a soul winner and bring glory of God.
