By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. Prayer
To gain Christ, it is to gain everything. Loving Father, I praise You for the greater riches and eternal treasures that You have given me in Christ Jesus. I am rich beyond compare and my life is complete in Jesus my Savior. Fill my heart with the faith of Moses, that I may choose to be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ rather than an opportunistic soft life of sin. Teach me to keep pressing ahead and not lose heart by looking forward to the reward of being with Jesus in heaven. In His holy name I pray
