Today's Bible Promise - "These all died in faith" Heb. 11:13

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. Heb. 11:13

Prayer
This world is not my home, I am just a pilgrim passing through. Living Father, I thank You and believe in my heart that Jesus bore my sins and died in my place on the cross of Calvary. I pray for an increase in faith that I may be able to trust in Your living promises which give me hope. I pray for an increase in faith that I may be able to see the Land afar and the Kingdom to come which uplifts my spirit while I travel through this earthly land. I pray for an increase in faith that I may be a faithful example like Abraham to my family and friends. In the blessed name of Jesus

NOT MY HOME
Troubles and tears
And temptations do come
But still my heart cheers
For this world is not my home

Sadness and sorrows
Sometimes come like a flood
But I've found hope for tomorrow
In Jesus Christ my Lord

Fierce foes and fears
Many times surround me
But I know my God is near
With His angels to preserve me

Despair and dangers
At times may loom
But they're only strangers
And Christ leads me through the gloom

Oh, what peace of mind!
With love flowing like the sea
And the glorious joy I find
For in my heavenly home I'll soon be!
