Today's Bible Promise - “ Now, our God, we give you thanks" 1 Chron. 29:13

"Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is Yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; You are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from You; You are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise Your glorious name." 1 Chronicles 29:11-13 (KJV)

A THANKSGIVING PRAYER
Lord, so often times, as any other day
When we sit down to eat our meal and pray
We hurry along and make fast the blessing
Thanks, amen, and now please pass the dressing.

We're slaves to the food that overloads
We must rush our prayer before the food gets cold
But Lord, I'd like to take a few minutes more
To really give thanks to what I'm thankful for.

For my family, my health, and a nice soft bed
My friends, my freedom, and the roof over my head

I'm thankful right now to be surrounded by those
Whose lives have touched me more than they'll ever know.
Thankful Lord, that You've blessed me beyond measure
Thankful in my heart that You are truly life's greatest treasure.

That You, Lord Jesus, reside in the rightful place
And I'm ever so grateful for Your unending grace.
So please, Lord Jesus, bless our day and this food You've provided
And bless each and every person invited
In Your holy name, Amen!

I thank God for each of you and pray that you have a safe and blessed Thanksgiving.
